1. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE I NEED?
Use the Size Chart (Download and Print the Size Chart) to see which size and type you’ll need. Measure the width of your original zipper. SEE THE FIGURE BELOW ON HOW TO MEASURE THE WIDTH OF ORIGINAL ZIPPER:
2. My zipper comes apart. Can I use Zipp Clip?
Yes! The original zipper comes apart because the old slider is worn out and can easily be replaced by Zipp Clip.
3. Zipp Clip does not fit on my old zipper. Did I do something wrong?
It can be that you did not open Zipp Clip sufficiently. Try to open a little more. Or try another size of Zipp Clip.
4. SOMETIMES, THERE IS NO BEGINNING ON THE ORIGINAL ZIPPER, WHAT SHALL I DO?
First you should force open the original zipper, assemble Zipp Clip to the original zipper, press the jaws together and pull Zipp Clip to the bottom.
5. HOW DO I REMOVE THE OLD SLIDER?
Remove the old slider by using a pair of cutting pliers: Cut through the centre bar of the old zip slider and remove from the zip.
Flat Tip Screwdriver: Pry Apart Old Zip and remove from the zip. See Example Pictures below.
1. Remove
Remove the old slider, simply by using a pair of cutting pliers. Open and remove it as the image shows.
2. Open
To open the Zipp Clip; push the lower part/jaw down with your thumb and push the puller backward until it opens.
3. Close
Place the open Zipp Clip at the beginning of the zipper and press the two jaws of the Zipp Clip firmly together. Ready to use.
